Zachary M. Bussel, age 52, of Anderson, died unexpectedly at his home on July 16, 2025. Zach was born in Anderson on July 23, 1972. He loved tee-ball as a child, as well as riding his bike, and playing basketball in his junior high, high school, and adult years. He was a 1990 Frankton High School grad. As a young adult he worked for Golden Stream Quality Foods, as well as moving on to construction jobs. At the time of his passing, he was working for Gaylor Electric and Tractor Supply. He enjoyed the work he was doing at both jobs.
Zach was a kindhearted, giving friend to all, and never met a stranger. He had the most incredible sense of humor. Along his lifes path he made numerous friends and kept in touch with them.
He loved his family deeply and would do anything to make life easier. He was the funniest member in the family. Always trying to raise spirits. One touching and meaningful note about his life in these past years was how giving he had become. Whether it was an ear to lean on, a ride somewhere, advice, or help with anything, he was there. After listening to friends and acquaintances talk about his giving nature, it is a comfort to the heart. We will miss his endearing smile, good natured demeanor, and amazing sense of humor.
Zachary is survived by his mother Theresa (Warren) Loomis of Mooresville; sister Wendy (Shawn) Patton of Cloverdale; brother Ernie (Bobbete) Ball III of Chesterfield; sons Morgan and Mason Bussel; uncle Greg (Sherry) Bussel of Greenfield; and cousins, nieces, and nephews as well.
Zach was preceded in death by his father Larry G. Bussel; paternal grandparents Bill and Ruby Bussel; maternal grandparents George and Donna Bechtel.
A Celebration of Life event will be at a later date and noted on Wendy Patton's Facebook page.
