Indianapolis

Wilma “Kay” Rayford-Stone, was born October 4, 1964, in Anderson, Indiana.  She was the daughter of Willie Rayford (Cora) and Adline King.

Kay confessed her love for Christ at an early age and was a member of Bethesda Temple Apostolic under the leadership of Elder Brown.

Kay was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother and friend.  She loved the Lord and was a very spiritual woman.  She could pray for you and recite a scripture from the Bible at the drop of a hat.  She loved her children and would stomp the world over them.  Kay enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and beloved friends.  One of her favorite hobbies was fishing in Fortville, IN.  Kay enjoyed signing, dancing, playing cards, Scabble, and joking around.  She was a caretake of her brother, Darren, whom she loved dearly.  Kay was a special soul and will be extremely missed.

Kay departed this life on October 2, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Adline King; brother, James Bernard; and sister, Scherie Smith.

Kay leaves to cherish precious memories of her life in the hearts of her son, Gregg A. Ratcliff Jr. (Porsche); daughter, Aunya Ratcliff; brothers, Darren Rayford and Edward Leshon Davidson (Sharey); sisters, Charlene Boyd and Marchelle Davidson; grandchildren, Mariah Ratcliff, Gia Ratcliff, Gayle Ratcliff, Hezekiah Ratcliff, Gohan Ratcliff, Panama Ratcliff, Gotham Ratcliff, Freedom Long, Ceven Holder and Cobey Holder; Godson, Harvey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
