Wilma L. Kelly

Wilma L. Kelly, a longtime resident of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on November 11, 2023, in Summer Shade, Kentucky with her beloved sister Christine, at the age of 80. Born on May 18, 1943, she was the beloved wife of Walter A. Kelly, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Wilma is survived by her loving son, Walter A. Kelly, Jr., and daughter Kimberly (Kris) Julius. She leaves a lasting legacy through her cherished grandchildren: Catherine (Justin) Robledo, Jacob Kelly, Kooper (Robyn) Julius, Joshua (Thaybee) Kelly, and Robbin Julius. Additionally, Wilma is remembered by her cherished great-grandchildren Shawn Kelly and Jennifer Seleagyi.

Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Catherine E. Price, and her brother, William (Bill) Price. She is survived by her brothers Timothy (Katy) Price and David (Lena) Price, and sisters Ruth Tingle and Christine Beard. Wilma also leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews.

In her 56 years of marriage, Wilma and Walter built a loving home filled with joy and laughter. Wilma's love for Elvis, crafting, and horror movies will always live on in her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and silliness that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

There will be a memorial service to honor Wilma's life at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services in Lawrence on Tuesday, November 28.

Visiting hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. In addition, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Saunders Cemetery in Daleville.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Humane Society of Indianapolis in Wilma's memory.

May Wilma L. Kelly rest in eternal peace, her memory a source of comfort and inspiration for her family and friends.
