William J. "Bill" Martin

William J. “Bill” Martin, passed away on March 12, 2023 after a sudden illness. He was born in Anderson to David and Judith (Hughes) Martin.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He retired from Fisher Guide and Marion Metal Fabricating.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nola (Haygood) Martin; brother Danny (Dana) Martin; 1 granddaughter; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; 2 great nephews; 2 aunts; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, and one son.

Cremation will take place with no services, per Bill’s wishes. He will be missed by everyone he knew, especially his “barn buddies.”

Cremation was handled through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson. Burial will take place at Menden Cemetery in Pendleton, IN.
