William Christopher Brewer

William Christopher Brewer was born on December 29, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Reginald Brewer and Pearleen Stewart. He attended the Indianapolis Public School system where he graduated from Broad Ripple High School (Ripple Rocket) and furthered his education as an Automotive Technician from Lincoln Technical Institute.

William worked for King Ribs BBQ for over 30 years, where he was a cook at both the east and the west side locations. He was a committed and dedicated long-standing employee. He also worked for the family Landscaping business.

William had a loving spirit and will be missed by many. Whenever anyone needed a helping hand, he was there. He was a devoted father to his son Jalil, who he loved dearly. William was also a devoted husband, son, brother, nephew, and friend.

William Christopher Brewer went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2026 at the age of 55 years old. He became a member of Phillips Temple CME Church at an early age. William leaves behind his wife of 17 years, Jacquilla Brewer, his son Jalil Brewer, a brother Eric Brewer, a sister Nina Martin-Bingham and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and colleagues. William was preceded in death by his parents, Reginald Brewer and Pearleen Stewart, his brother Kevin Brewer and his grandmother Ruth Rucker Brewer.
