Virginia Maria Popovich

Virginia Maria Popovich, entered into eternal rest on January 14, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1947, in Brookline, Massachusetts, to Antonio and Marjorie Margarite.

Ginny was a 1965 graduate of Stoughton High School in Massachusetts. She later made her home in Muncie, Indiana, where she was known for her kind and sensitive nature. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Ginny had a heart for others and a special love for animals.

She was a devoted member of her church in Muncie, finding joy in her faith and the fellowship of her community.

Ginny was preceded in death by her former husband Bobby Alyward, husband Joe Popovich, her parents, aunts, and uncles.

May Ginny’s memory live on through the countless lives she touched with her warmth, comfort, and compassion.
