Vickey Elaine Anthony

Born near Columbus, Ohio (Urbancrest) in 1962. Vickey relocated to Indiana with her father at a young age after the death of her mother.  She attended Anderson High School, graduating in 1980 (Anderson, Indiana.)  She resided in Muncie and Anderson, Indiana during her adult life.  She passed away August 12, 2023.

Vickey was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cross-stitching.  She loved spending time with family and friends.  When she wasn’t passing time making magic while cooking in the kitchen, her face lit up when any of her grandchildren were present.  Additional hobbies included listening to music and playing games such as Pokeeno.

Vickey leaves behind her five sons:  Antjuan “Deon” (Lindsey) [Teresa Fattic], David “Lamar” (Lindsey) [Ashley Black], Marcus (Lindsey), Earl (Lindsey) III, & Cameron (Anthony)[Cassey Hoskins.]  She was blessed with 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and many cousins, aunts, & uncles

Vickey was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn (Skeaton), her father Daivd (Hollowell), sister Brenda (Hollowell), and grandmother / mother figure Myrtle (Rushing.)

The family is thankful for everyone who has reached out in this time of need and sharing memories as Vickey’s life is celebrated.

A visitation will be held on Monday August 21st, 2023 from 10am-2pm with funeral service beginning at 2pm at Legacy Cremation and Funerlas services Anderson
