Tyler Watson

Tyler Watson, age 22, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2023. He was born on August 10, 2000, in Anderson to Howard Lee Watson Jr. and Virginia Rose (Steger) Watson.

Tyler was a hard worker in every sense of the word. He enjoyed construction work, working on cars, and especially fitness. He was happy, cheerful, inspirational to his friends and family. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He loved to try new things. He was someone you could call, and he would be right there. He was extremely smart, enjoyed playing football, fishing, and going down to the river. He was a wonderful son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tyler is survived by his mother Virginia Watson; siblings Chelsy Watson, Nicholas Mitchell, Cassy Mitchell. And Carleena Miller; best friends Adrien Busby, Isaac Patrick, and Brian Gaytan; grandparents Rose Mier (Bill Smith) and Mary Beth Watson; nieces and nephews John Mitchell, CJ Mitchell, Krislyn Mitchell, Carolina Miller, and Kane Miller; Uncle James Steger, Uncle Ritchie Watson, and Uncle Avery Watson; and several cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Howard Watson Jr., special grandpa Greg Busby, Grandpa James Thomas, and Grandpa Howard Watson Sr.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday May 23, 2023, from 1-3pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson with a funeral service beginning at 3pm.
