Tony Edward Pierce

Tony Edward Pierce, beloved father, pops, and friend, passed away on April 28, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born on November 19, 1959, in Muncie, Indiana, to Willie Pierce and Nancy Poling. Tony spent most of his life in Muncie, where he was raised and where he built many cherished relationships.

 Tony was known for his kind and helpful nature, always ready to lend a hand. A true jack of all trades, he had a remarkable talent for fixing things and could tackle any project with skill and determination. Tony had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR races, and his love for his little dog moonshine. In his younger days, he had a passion for snowmobiling, which brought him great joy.

 Above all, Tony will be remembered as a good-hearted person who made a positive impact on those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and love.

 Tony is survived by his loving family, son Eric Pierce (Cecelia); daughter Toni Barton (Arielle); and his cherished grandchild Paityn, who affectionately called him "pops." Stepson Jeremey Williamson (Lindsey); Sisters Kathy Gasper and Dawn Jones (Brian); nieces and nephews Holly Amos, Josh Gasper, Shelbie Pierce, and Todd Ray Pierce; cousins Robert Hinds (Michelle), Raymond Hinds, Larry Southworth (Sally) and Tim Southworth; and many special friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Willie Pierce and Nancy Poling; brother Todd Pierce; grandparents Ray and Loraina Brookbank; and Aunt Sandy Southworth.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
