Tommy Mack Hubbard, 85, of Anderson, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on August 21st, 2025. He was born July 19, 1940, in Jenkins, Kentucky, to the late William and Ruth Hubbard.
Tommy grew up in Wise, Virginia, before moving to Indiana in 1964. In his earlier years, he managed autobody shops at Chrysler and Chevrolet dealerships before beginning a long and successful career with Allstate Insurance Company as a claims adjuster. His work took him across the country responding to catastrophic claims, including Hurricane Andrew in Florida, the Oklahoma floods, and Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. He retired in 2002.
Devoted to his family, Tommy was actively involved in his children’s lives. He proudly served as a “band dad,” driving buses to band contests and camps, and was one of their biggest supporters at BMX bicycle races.
After retirement, Tommy and his wife, Glenna, moved to Madison, Georgia, to bed and breakfast and horse ranch. They enjoyed nearly 14 years there, building many cherished friendships, before returning to Wise, Virginia. After three years, they moved back to Anderson to be near their children and grandchildren.
Tommy never met a stranger and leaves behind countless friends who will miss his warm spirit and generosity. He was a member of Living Word Worship Center and the Masonic Lodge in Alexandria, Indiana.

Hubbard (Christina) of Lapel, Indiana, and Christina Vanhook (Troy) of Markleville, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and brothers-in-law, Danny (Pam) Sweet of Anderson, and Joe Lawson of Big Stone Gap, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robin Mack Hubbard (Rhonda) of Anderson; brothers-in-law, Boyce Eugene Lawson, Bradly Lawson, and Roger Lawson; and mother-in-law, Mary Baker.
