Tina Marie Long

Tina Marie Long, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2022. She was born on November 6, 1955, to the late Ora Parkhurst and Zelma Covington.

Tina was a graduate of Anderson High School. She worked as a bartender for many years and was considered one of the best. She was extremely giving to a fault. She would go without if she needed to just so others did not. She loved her grandkids deeply and family was everything to her. She was a natural born caregiver. She was the life of the party everywhere she went. She was a proud domestic abuse survivor and was a dedicated advocate for those who needed help. She was a wonderful mother, grandma, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Tina is survived by her children Tammy Frenzel, Susan Lofton (Chekeo), and Amber House (Thomas); grandchildren Braydon Lofton, Hazelyn Lofton, Janice Hobbs (Nigel), Shane Hobbs (Erin), Darrian House (Dezzy), Jasmine Hobbs (Alex), and Jacob House; great-granddaughter Zara Moore; siblings Orie Parkhurst, Lori Covington, Mike Parkhurst (Becky), and Mark Parkhurst; Aunt and Uncle Mike and Doris Covington; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents listed above; grandson Thomas Frenzel; siblings Shirley Parkhurst. Mary Hodge, Mike Parkhurst, and Ronald “Red” Parkhurst; and Aunt Louise Baldwin.

A visitation will be held on Monday November 21, 2022, from 2-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
