Timothy "Tim" Wayne Maxwell, passed away on March 27, 2024 in Anderson, IN at the age of 72. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family.
 
 Timothy's professional journey spanned over several decades, starting from his early days at Pepsi before working for General Motors for over 30 years. He also dedicated five years to Co-Op work and was known for his role as a hard-working farmer. Tim's commitment to his work was evident in everything he did, reflecting his strong work ethic and determination.
 
 Born and raised in Anderson, IN, Tim graduated from Anderson High School in the Class of 1970. Those who knew Tim remember him as a great man with a wonderful sense of humor. His easy-going nature and kind heart made him someone that anyone could rely on. Tim believed in the goodness of people and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His strong work ethic ensured that his family was always well taken care of, and he was considered the best neighbor and friend anyone could ask for.
 
 In his leisure time, Tim found joy in riding horses alongside his brother Bill. He cherished the moments spent at horse sales and trail rides. He and his brother Bill rode the Continental Divide and many other areas of the country. He embraced the outdoors while caring for his beloved animals. His love for adventure extended to unique traditions like taking different routes while traveling to avoid detection by imaginary Indians. A result of loving Westerns.
 
 Tim was not just a hardworking professional but also a loving husband and father. His immense heart and caring nature endeared him to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family members and friends who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life's journey.
 
 Tim is survived by his wife Marianne Woolbert- Maxwell of 25 years; daughter Shannon Talmage (Mark); grandson Devan Talmage; siblings Bill Maxwell, Nancy Jaynes and Jack Maxwell, nephews Vance Maxwell (Patty) and Joe Jaynes (Becky); niece Denise Turner (Bill); several great-nieces and nephews; close friends Dan Turner and Sherry Silvey; and many other close friends and family. 

 

He is also survived by four Maltese- Gracie, Grayson, Sammy and "Oh Oliver!" He is also survived by Molly a rescue and his horse Blue. He took tremendous care of all his animals, and they adored him.
 
 He is preceded in death by his parents Cledeth and Annabell Maxwell; sister Debbie Couch; and nephews Rick Maxwell, Jeff Maxwell, and Tom Jaynes. 
 
 Tim's presence enriched the lives of those around him, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory continue to inspire kindness, hard work, and dedication in us all.
 
 A visitation will be held on Monday April 1, 2024, from 1-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services in Anderson. In place of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Animal Protection League, The Madison County Humane Society or a of the individual's choice To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of Timothy Wayne Maxwell, please visit our flower store.
