Theresa “Terri” Lynn Stutler, age 73, of Brownsburg, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. She was born on December 31, 1951, in Milan, IN, the daughter of the late Wayne and Bonnie Martin Stutler.
She is survived by her brothers: Richard (Carolyn) Stutler of Madison, IN and David (Georgette) Stutler of Buford, GA; two nieces: Sandra (Russell) Bastyr of Brownsburg, IN and Amy (Marc) Bassett of King George, VA; three nephews: Mike (Amanda Henderson) Stutler of Brownsburg, IN; Jared (Ginger) Stutler of Alpharetta, GA; Kyle (Anna) Stutler of Chamblee, GA; seven great-nephews: Ryan (Caitlyn) Stutler of Camp Lejeune, NC; Cooper Henderson of Anderson, IN; Carsen Henderson of Brownsburg, IN; Logan Stutler of Alpharetta, GA; Brad Stutler of Alpharetta, GA; Andrew Bassett of King George, VA; Carson Stutler of Chamblee, GA; Hayes Stutler of Chamblee, GA; one great-great nephew: Luca Stutler of Camp Lejeune, NC; as well as numerous cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Donna J. Stutler Klein, on July10, 2023.
Terri was a 1969 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, IN and furthered her education earning a bachelor’s degree at Indiana State University. For most of her career, Terri worked as a sales representative representing the following: Queens Group, AGI, Shorewood, Sony, and Ivy Hill. Her hard work, persistence, and dedication led to numerous accomplishments through the years. Terri finished her career as a volunteer coordinator for Franciscan Hospital in Mooresville, IN.
Terri was a member of the Brownsburg chapter of Psi Ioa Xi. She was an avid Pacers fan rarely missing a Pacers game. She loved watching and attending NASCAR races and the INDY 500. Music was always a staple in her life, and she could be found with her favorite songs blaring in the car like the Grease soundtrack and any of the Beatle's classics. Terri almost always had a Diet Coke in hand and would devour a piece of cherry pie. Most of all, she loved her family fiercely always showing up and taking every opportunity to spend time together. Her humor, smile, laughter, and hugs will be greatly missed by all.
In accordance with her wishes, a private family visitation will be held. Following cremation, a brief niche-side service will be held with family and friends as Terri’s remains are placed in a columbarium niche at Washington Park Cemetery North, Indianapolis, IN. The family will hold a celebration of Terri’s life at a later date (TBD).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana in memorial of Terri.
