Theresa Marie Fitzgerald

Theresa M. Fitzgerald, 63, entered eternal rest peacefully in Indianapolis, Indiana surrounded by many loved ones. Mandi Irwin, Rylee Irwin, Jason Henson, Ashley Mattson, along with her husband Richard Mattson and their children, and her in-laws Rick and Regina Mattson.

Theresa left behind a hell of a lot of stuff; however, we did get rid of a lot of it when selling her house. So, if you’re looking for 2 old tv’s, a queen-sized bed, old antique furniture, you should wait the appropriate amount of time and get in touch with Ashley. Tomorrow is fine!

               This is not an ad for a garage sale, but the obituary for a great woman, mother, grandma and great grandma.

Theresa leaves behind a very dysfunctional family that she was very proud of. Theresa didn’t hold back her opinion and if she had vodka and a diet, she really let you know what was on her mind.

               With that being said, she was genuine to a fault, had a heart of gold and sugar coated nothing. Theresa had a very extensive vocabulary and was highly proficient in knowing more curse words than most people learned in a lifetime.

               She loved her four-letter words like she loved watching Reba and Cooking shows. While she lived with us, we watched reruns and reruns, but saw every episode of Reba and Pioneer Woman at least 11 times. And somehow, she never cooked what she learned from the tv.

               Theresa taught people with a school of hard knocks mentality. Up hill in snow both ways, as the tale goes. You knew where you stood with her. She either liked you or she didn’t, it was black and white. As her daughter I’m still trying to figure out where I stood with her. (Only kidding, I know you loved me Mom)

               She is preceded in death by her parents Donald J Fitzgerald and Mary Katherine (White) Fitzgerald

               She will be sorely missed by Daughter, Ashley Marie (Henson) Mattson, Son in Law Rick Mattson, the girls will miss their Theresa Mamaw. Brooklyn Marie, Reagan Noelle, Addy Grace. Her brother Joesph Fitzgerald. Theresa’s previous longtime partner Gary Henson, Stepchildren Michale, Jason, and Travis Henson. As well as Grandson Jordan Henson, Granddaughter Rylee Irwin, along with her first great grand baby Delilah Marie.

With that I know there are many other friends and family that will miss my mother greatly. I love you Mom, rest easy!

               A Friends and Family Celebration of Life is being held in lieu of service on January 20, 2024, at the VFW In Greenfield, Indiana located at 529 Apple Street from 1:00 PM -3:00 PM.
