Thelma L. Sullivan

August 30, 1948 — October 30, 2022

Indianapolis , IN

Thelma L. Sullivan, 74, passed away October 30th, 2022. She was born August 30, 1948, to Dorothy M. Melton and Charles W. Davis. She is survived by her sons Sonny and Rusty Hardcastle; her daughter Angela Hardcastle-Sebree; her 11 grandchildren; her great granddaughter; 12 siblings and many more family and friends. She was a loving and strong woman. Although she had many loved ones, she had a way of making each one feel special and loved in their own unique way. Without fail, she was there if you needed a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, or a helping hand.

In her younger years,  Thelma enjoyed horseback riding, crafting, and photography. In college, she studied early childhood education, but eventually settled in a career in accounts receivable where she provided many years of quality work and dedication. Thelma was fiercely strong-willed and had a lust for life that shined through until her very last breath. It was only three months ago that she loaded up a U-Haul in Southern California to move across the country to Indiana. She was still preparing to work and dreaming up vacation ideas. To say she will be dearly and deeply missed is only a fraction of the truth, as words are rarely enough, especially in times such as these.

Please join us for a celebration of life on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services in Indianapolis. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. -8 p.m., with the funeral service taking place the following day, Friday, November 11, 2022 at Noon.
