Terry Wayne Sarvis Jr.

Terry Sarvis Jr., age 29, of Anderson, passed away unexpectedly at his home on May 6, 2022. He was born on March 11, 1993, to Terry Wayne Sarvis Sr. and the late Carlotta Sarvis.

Terry was a graduate of Anderson High School Class of 2011. He loved to spend time with his family, playing ball and just hanging out. He was a great big brother, truly a great guy with a huge heart when he was sober. Terry struggled with drug addiction throughout his life, which ultimately, in the end, took his life.

Terry made many good choices in his too short life, and he made some bad choices. He tried to fight addiction in his own way and on May 6 his fight came to an end in his home. The whole family tried to help him win the battle, but we couldn’t show him a way that could cure his addiction. If you have a friend or a relative who is fighting the fight against addiction, please do everything you can to be supportive.

Terry is survived by his father Terry Wayne Sarvis Sr.; son Jaziah Sarvis; siblings Taylor Sarvis (Jasmine), Christina Sarvis (John), and Jeffrey Sarvis (Tiffany); nephew Kyle Stanley and several other nieces and nephews; special cousin Brittany Sarvis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and several close friends.

Terry is preceded in death by his mother Carlotta Sarvis; several aunts and uncles; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.

A visitation will be held on Monday May 16, 2022, from 2-4pm with a funeral service beginning at 4pm at Legacy Cremation and Funeral Service – Anderson.
