Outside of her career, Terrie had a zest for life that was truly infectious. She had a love for cooking and delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones. Teri also enjoyed spending time at the lakes and experiencing the thrill of riding motorcycles. These activities brought her immense joy and allowed her to embrace the beauty of the world around her.
Described as someone who lived life to the fullest, Terrie had a big heart and never met a stranger. Her compassionate and involved nature meant that she always lent a helping hand to those in need. Terrie’s genuine care for others extended beyond acquaintances; she treated everyone she encountered with kindness and respect. She was preceded in death by her brother Jack McIntyre, father Kelse McIntyre, as well as her grandparents Thomas and Addy Boaz and Bill and Cordie McIntyre. She is survived by her son Benjamin Cortez, granddaughters Lillianna Cortez and Isabella Cortez, special friend and granddaughter’s mom, Victoria Cortez, her mother Helen Monrreal, her brother Jim McIntyre (Betty), her sister Janet Garmon, her sister Patty Cook (JC), her brother Bill McIntyre (Malea), her sister Tammy McIntyre, her brother Allen McIntyre (Lora), her sister Shawn Riddle (David), and several nieces and nephews. Terrie’s love and presence will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
