Tara Folsom, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away on February 8, 2024, in Indianapolis, IN after an extended illness. She was born on November 30, 1975, in San Diego, CA.
Tara graduated from Chrysler High School in New Castle, IN as part of the Class of 1994. Although attending college for a brief period, Tara devoted much of her time and energy to her family and career. For many years, she contributed her skills and dedication to Ed Martin and Andy Mohr auto sales.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Tara's proudest achievements revolved around her role as a mother and wife. She cherished her family dearly and took great joy in being there for them every step of the way. Tara was known for her extremely good work ethic, caring nature, and loving spirit. She had a bright light that shone wherever she went and she had the incredible ability to make everyone she met feel like a friend. Tara was loved by all who knew her.
Outside of work and family life, Tara had a few passions that brought her immense happiness. Each year, she indulged in a much-anticipated beach vacation with her loved ones. There was nothing quite like watching the waves crash against the shore while feeling the warm sand beneath her feet. Tara also found solace in working out in her yard. Her home was adorned with an abundance of beautiful flowers both inside and outside.
Tara's positive outlook on life touched the hearts of many. Her contagious enthusiasm and vivacious personality were truly special qualities that will be remembered by all who knew her. Whether it was lending a helping hand or sharing a warm smile with someone in need, Tara was always ready to bring sunshine into people's lives.
To pay tribute to Tara Folsom's remarkable life, visitation services will be held on February 15th, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Anderson, IN location on 504 W 9th St. This will be followed by a funeral service on the same day from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. The services will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to come together and share their cherished memories of Tara.
Tara Folsom leaves behind her adoring family, including her loving husband and son, who meant the world to her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those whose lives she touched. Despite this loss, we can find solace in knowing that Tara's spirit will forever remain a guiding light for us all.
She is survived by her loving husband Sam Folsom; son Javn Folsom; Mother Loretta Goodwin; brother Travis Erhart; niece Kensie Grace Erhart; several aunts and uncles; and many special friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Bernard Erhart; grandparents Otha and Agnes Goodwin; and several aunts and uncles.
In honor of Tara's legacy, let us celebrate the joy she brought into our lives and strive to follow in her footsteps of kindness, love, and unwavering dedication. She lived a life filled with compassion and left an indelible imprint on those lucky enough to know her. We will always remember Tara Folsom as a beautiful person who brightened every room and made the world a better place.
