Steven A. Sullivan, 67, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 10, 2026, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family, following a courageous, years-long battle with cancer.

Born on October 13, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Steven was the son of the late Ralph and Marguerite Sullivan. Throughout his life, he was a man of strong Christian faith, devoted to his family and guided by his love for God.

For 23 years, Steven shared his life with his loving partner, Rebecca "Becca" Gerrard, Together, they maintained a God-centered relationship built on faith, love, commitment, and companionship.

Their years together were filled with shared experiences, cherished memories, and a deep devotion to one another.

Steven's faith was an important part of who he was. As an active member of Indian Creek Christian Church, he faithfully served in several church ministries. He valued opportunities to serve the Lord, support his church family, and demonstrate his faith through his actions. His relationship with God remained a source of strength and comfort throughout his life, including during his battle with cancer.

Outside of church, Steven enjoyed spending time outdoors and caring for the things he loved. Gardening was one of his favorite pastimes, and he took great satisfaction in planting, growing, and tending to his garden. He also had a special love for animals, particularly his chickens and goats, and enjoyed the daily responsibilities of caring for them. These simple pleasures brought him happiness and reflected his appreciation for God's creation.

Above all, Steven treasured his family. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather who valued the time he spent with his grandchildren and the memories they created together. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his sense of humor, his willingness to help others, and the many ways he made a difference in the lives of those around him.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Marguerite Sullivan, and his brother, Mark Sullivan.

He is survived by his loving partner of 23 years, Rebecca "Becca" Gerrard; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his brother, Bryan Sullivan; and his sisters, Sandy (Beau) Sullivan and Lori Bailey.

He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Although Steven's earthly journey has come to an end, his family takes comfort in knowing that his faith in the Lord remained steadfast. His life serves as a reminder of the importance of loving others, appreciating life's simple blessings, and remaining faithful through every season.

Steven will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but the memories shared and the love he gave will forever remain in their hearts.
