Steven M. Metz

Steven "Stevie" M. Metz was born on April 29, 1963, in Georgia and later made his home in Indianapolis, Indiana. On October 21, 2025, he went home to be with the Lord.

Stevie will be remembered for his outgoing personality and his love of being around people. He enjoyed keeping busy, going places, and was a hard worker helping his neighbor as a young man or working at Goodwill. He believed in doing things right. One of the greatest blessings in his life was his girlfriend, Teresa, who brought him happiness and companionship in his later years. Stevie also had a deep love for sports. Whether watching a game or talking about his favorite teams, sports were something that always lit him up and gave him great joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Metz and Elizabeth Ann Scott; his brother, Bobby Scott; and several aunts who cared for him deeply. He is survived by his brother, Jeff Scott, and many loving cousins.

Stevie loved the Lord and gave his heart to Jesus. He will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held on November 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services located at 1604 W. Morris St, Indianapolis, IN 46221. This will be followed by a funeral service at the same location from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Steven will then be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery, located at 425 North Holt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46222.
