Steven E. 'Steve' Doss

Steve Doss 62 of Indianapolis, passed away at home October 13, 2022. He was born August 3, 1960, in Beech Grove, IN, to Elizabeth Doss (Padgett) and James Melton Doss.

Steve worked security for the Colts and Pacers games at the Hoosier Dome.

Steve loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren also fishing with his son. He loved to watch football and cheer his Colts on, he would get loud and could be destructive to furniture if the call didn’t go right or he didn’t agree with the referee, or they were losing. He loved going to Florida and spending time on the beach.

He was a simple man and enjoyed the simple things in life. Steve had to have his hair perfect all the time carrying his brush with him. He was a lady’s man using his smile, to charm the ladies. He didn’t always have an easy life but enjoyed life. Steve fought a hard battle with sickness and put up a hard fight till his last breath.

He was preceded in death by his parents (listed above) and brother Gary Doss.

He is survived by children; Zack (Amanda), Destiny, Stevie, Cory, Chad, Miranda; sisters; Linda Bloss (Bruce), Debra Doss (Manuel); brothers; Mike Doss (Tammy), Jerry Doss; nieces and nephews; Candi, Shelby, Nancy, Jeremiah, Brandy, Crystal, Darren, Mikey, Anthony, and Nicole; 16 grandchildren and lots of great nieces and nephews; 2 uncles, Ralph Doss, Mike Padgett (Margaret)
