Stevie "Steve" Eugene Corbin, 73, died on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at his home along the side of his loved ones.
Steve was born February 10, 1953, Muncie, Indiana, to Walter L and Delsie Corbin.
Steve was a veteran of the United States Army in 1970. He worked and retired at General Motors in Anderson, Indiana. He then went on to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Steve did 36 years of service with them until he retired in 2017. Steve enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to make horrible dad jokes that would make you laugh every time. If you were in a bad mood or upset, you had better be ready for a joke. He would do anything to brighten your day. He was a loving father, brother, son, and friend anyone could ask for. Just ask his friends from Middletown.
Steve was survived by his son Cole Corbin of Fishers, Indiana; daughter, Amanda (Steve) Osborne; and granddaughters, Kyra and Haylee Osborne, of Anderson, Indiana; daughter, Jennifer Hinton, of Alexandria, Indiana, and granddaughter, Mikayla Bates, and great grandbabies, Kash, Xzavier, and Stetson, of Franklin, Indiana. Brothers, Roger (Jennifer) Corbin of Anderson, Indiana, Richard (Cheryl) of Ingalls, Indiana, Rick (Jenny) Corbin of Pendleton, Indiana, brother, Larry Corbin of Anderson, Indiana, Randy (Mona) Corbin of Cookeville, Tennessee, and sister, Barbara (Dave) Troutt of Livingston, Tennessee. As well as many nieces, nephews, uncles, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by mother, Delsie Redman; father, Walter Corbin, and stepmother, Romona Corbin; and brother, Jeff Corbin.
Steve will be remembered for his caring and loving heart and the warmth he brought to a room when he entered. He may have looked like a hulk, but he was a teddy bear inside.
Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
