Stephen "Herbie" Miller, passed away on December 13th, 2023, to a recent illness. Herbie was born on December 15, 1946, in Anderson, Indiana, to proud parents Robert and LaVaughn Miller. He was a lifelong resident of Pendleton, Indiana.

Herbie, a true sports enthusiast, found joy in both watching and attending games. His passion for sports extended to his favorite teams, which included the Cincinnati Reds, Pacers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Colts. A dedicated member of Masons Lodge #44 in Pendleton, the UAW, and the IBEW-International Brotherhood of Electrician Workers #481, Herbie's commitment to community and camaraderie was evident.

Herbie devoted a significant portion of his career to Guide in Anderson and retired from Allisons Transmission. He formed lasting bonds with his General Motors colleagues even after retirement. Herbie was neat and tidy. His organizational skills and attention to detail was remarkable.

Herbie enjoyed talking about sports with his son, Darin, and took great delight in hearing about the adventures of his granddaughters. Herbie is survived by son: Darin (Angela) Miller; granddaughters, Lauren Nicole Miller, and Carly Rae Kessler (Jakob); brother: Jeff (Ruth) Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, LaVaughn Robinson and Robert Miller, and his sister Peggy Cribb. Herbie's legacy lives on through the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.

Per Herbie's request, there will be no funeral services.
