Stephan Christopher Heiwig

Our beloved Stephan, husband, son, baby brother, Funcle (the name he preferred over Uncle) and friend, left this earth on Saturday, Feb 4, 2023. He was surrounded by his husband, mother, sister, his niece, his nephew, and brother-in-law.

Stephan would most definitely not have wanted us to go on and on about all of his incredible accomplishments. As we all know, he would be the first to share those with us in real time.

We are all also very aware of his wit, his brilliance, his sense of humor, his kind and compassionate heart, his beautiful baby blue eyes and his love for his family.

Stephan was taken from us much too soon, as God has bigger plans for him.

We will forever miss him and will forever hold him in our hearts.

God has taken your beautiful soul home and we can hear your final words when He called you….” Yup” …s 🙂

Stephan’s earthly remains will be taken to Mexico, where they will spend an eternity, in the sunshine and the surf.

Stephan is survived by his husband Jose Antonio Fernandez, his mother, Sue Heiwig, his sister, Stacia Heiwig Adams (Jay), his niece Courtney (Princess) Brandvik (Matthew), his nephew Nicholas (Nick) Rich and his great-niece Katherine (Princess Kate) Brandvik, and his great-nephew Charlie (Char Char) Brandvik.

All of them, he loved, with his whole heart.

Watch over us, Our Stephan, until we ALL meet again….

*A private religious ceremony will be held for members of the family only.

*A Celebration of Life Party will be held on May 20, 2023.
