Stanley Joseph "Joe" Pinczer

Stanley Joseph “Joe” Pinczer, 67, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away on September 23, 2026, just one day before his 68th birthday.

Joe was born on September 24, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa, to Stanley and Doris (Peddicord) Pinczer. He graduated from Central High School in 1977 and began working at Oscar Mayer shortly afterward, a first job he remained especially proud of throughout his life. He later worked in several management roles. For 10 years, Joe was also a student and kickboxing instructor at Nick Tarpein’s Martial Arts Center.

Joe enjoyed riding his Harley and cooking on the grill. He seemed to know someone everywhere he went and rarely missed an opportunity to strike up a conversation. He also volunteered his time at Holy Family Catholic Church and All Saints Catholic School, where he especially enjoyed making the students laugh.

In later years, Joe took great pride in his grandchildren and loved showing off their pictures to anyone he could. He remained a loyal Iowa Hawkeyes fan and enjoyed keeping up with friends from his youth, including friendships that went back many years.

Joe is survived by his three sons, Marcus Pinczer of Fishers, Indiana, Jerett Pinczer of Port Orchard, Washington, and Joseph Michael Pinczer of Davenport, Iowa; his grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Doris.

In keeping with Joe’s wishes, he will be cremated and placed in his favorite lunch box and thermos from third grade before being laid to rest back home in Davenport at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who knew Joe share their favorite stories or memories of him.
