Sieglinde McDonald

Sieglinde (von Mohr) McDonald, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on May 23, 2024, at the age of 85. Born to Lena (Doctor) and Wilhelm von Mohr in Braunfels, Germany, on April 23, 1939, she would relocate to the United States shortly after marriage to US Army Staff Sgt. Glen McDonald in 1961. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, listed above; Glen McDonald; grandson, Andrew “AJ” Luke, sisters, Hannelore Klinger and Liselotte Fowler; and several brothers-and-sisters-in-law. 

Sieglinde is survived by daughter, Regina (Richie) Luke; grandson, Nicholas Luke; Brother-in-Law, Jerry McDonald, of Liscomb, IA; and step-grandchildren, Brittany Luke and Brandon Luke; and honorary daughter, Christina Hughes. She also leaves the members of Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church to take comfort in her memory.
