Shirley Ann Ingalls

Shirley Ann Ingalls, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 22, 2023, in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was 68 years old. Shirley will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Born on January 10, 1955, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She was the daughter of William and Laura Lovins and is survived by her son Michael McGillem and daughter-in-law Amanda McGillem. Shirley cherished her role as a grandmother and leaves behind cherished memories with her grandchildren Christopher (Cassie) McGillem, Ryan (Gabby) McGillem, Brittani Kelley, and Braxton Short. Furthermore, she has also left behind four great-grandchildren. Shirley's unconditional love for her family will forever be remembered.

Shirley had a creative spirit that shone through in everything she did. She had an exceptional talent for crafting and creating beautiful works of art. Whether it was painting or making intricate handmade crafts, Shirley poured her heart and soul into each piece she made. Her dedication to her craft was truly inspiring.

In addition to her creative pursuits, Shirley had a deep affection for dogs. She adored their loyalty and companionship and valued the love they brought into her life. Her furry friends were always by her side as she navigated life's joys and challenges.

The visitation service to honor and celebrate Shirley's life will take place on October 2, 2023, from 1:00P to 3:00P at 1604 W. Morris Street in Indianapolis. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects at this gathering of remembrance.
