Sherry Marlene Eaton

November 28, 1953 — December 11, 2022

Indianapolis, IN

On  December 11, 2022 Sherry Marlene Eaton moved to her heavenly home.

Sherry was born to Roy and Virginia Eaton in 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  She attended Plainfield High School and excelled in art.  After High School, she worked for Sears before becoming a wife and mother of two boys.

Sherry had a passion for planting vegetable and flower gardens, where she raised tomatoes and grew sunflowers.  She bragged about her dog Daisy, who was her constant companion.  She loved spending time with her family, Jimmy, Erin and Michael.

Sherry was a person of faith and attended Sunday School and Bible Study every week at Tuxedo Park Baptist Church. She often baked brownies and cookies for her class.

Sherry was preceded in death by: her Mother, Virginia Eaton and stepdaughter, Carmen Van Huss. Survivors include her sons, Jimmy (Erin) Van Huss and Michael Van Huss, Father, Roy Eaton, Sisters, Sandra Waltz, and Susan (Gary Penner) Cummings, Brother, Mike (Theresa) Eaton.

 

Funeral Services will be held at Legacy  Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at New Crown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Red Door Cancer Agency.
