Sharon Andrews

Sharon Andrews, born on June 10, 1963, in Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away in Greenwood, Indiana, on June 21, 2026.

With over twenty years of experience, she devoted her career to caregiving, both privately and professionally, to those navigating hospice and to children in need. Sharon approached her work not simply as a job, but as a calling, guided by a heart of gold. The countless individuals and families who received her care and support will forever remember her for her kindness.

Her faith played a vital and sustaining role throughout her journey. A longtime member of Lakeview Church and a committed attendee at Emanuel Church in Greenwood, Sharon found both solace and strength within her church communities. In times of illness or challenge, when she was unable to attend services in person, she remained spiritually connected by receiving DVDs of the sermons, drawing comfort and encouragement from her church family.

Sharon will be remembered as generous, adaptive, and endlessly loving toward her family. Her ability to adapt to life’s many changes with grace and dignity was a source of inspiration for those around her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Frances Todd; father, Bill Cavness; and stepmother, Hazel Cavness; as well as her sister, Vicki White Maevers. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Juan) Brill, of Indianapolis, IN; her grandchildren, Jaylon, Keith, Jersey, Drianna, Javen, Dayana, Ana, Adamary, Leo, Lola; and siblings, Teresa White Piselli, of Dundee, MS, Kenny Todd, Kimberly Webb (Frank) of Shannon, MS, Lisa Clement, of Tupelo, MS, Angie Rogers (Tim) of Flora, MS, Billy Cavness JR, of Missouri, Johnny Cavness, of Clarksville, Chris “Skeet” Laster, of Byhalia, MS, and Carmen.

Sharon’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain ever present in the lives she touched.
