Scott David Barnett

Scott David Barnett, 61 or as he would say, “too damn old.”  He passed away unexpectedly on October 24th, 2022.  Scott was born on May 25th, 1961, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Lingle and Lela Barnett.  He was in customer service at UPS for many years.  Scott was a very kind and generous man.  He was a great man, brother, son, and uncle.

In these moments of heartbreaking grief, I remember the only reason we have an empty space. It’s because we are blessed with someone who loved us so beautifully, it occupied a part of our soul. Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lingle and Lela Barnett.

Scott is survived by his sister, Cynthia Barnett; niece, Jennifer Brewer; great nieces, Brooklynn Brewer and Karma Brewer- Marsh; cousins, Fawn and Maria.

There will be a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.  Scott’s final resting place will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Fishers, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his sister, Cynthia Barnett or his niece, Jennifer Brewer, to assist with final expenses.
