Samuel G. Brooks

Samuel G. Brooks (Sam) passed away unexpectedly at age 55 on September 11. Sam was born on October 4th, 1967 in Indianapolis, In.

He was a graduate of Warren Central High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an older brother Keith Brooks. Sam is survived by his sister Pamela Brooks McChesney.

He loved to fish and hunt, but his real love was Sprint car racing which he had been actively involved in. In May of 2018 Sam was honored to be inducted into the Little 500 Hall of Fame. Sam was both humbled and gratified by the recognition of his peers for doing something that he enjoyed so very much. He always looked forward to the Sprint Car races and was saddened when his health took him away from participating in them.

He was an organ donor and has given the gift of life or a better life to people who were in need. Sam is dearly loved and missed by his family and many friends as well as his beloved dog Louie.
