Ruth Ann Scott, beloved mother, granny, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Born on March 10, 1939, in Anderson, Indiana, to Grover and Nell Johnson.
Married to Theron E. Scott Sr. for 55 years, Ruth was a devoted wife and the #1 fan of the Pacers and Colts, never missing a game. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as working on word searches and watching the squirrels play outside her window.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Brenda Scott, Jane Roberts, Nancy Shelton, and Becky Tovar, and her sons, Theron E. Scott Jr. and Troy Scott. Ruth is survived by her five grandsons, nine granddaughters, several great-grandchildren, and her sisters, Pasty Kellem and Marjorie Amick.
After retiring from Countryside Manor as a receptionist, Ruth dedicated her time to her family and hobbies. Her warmth and kindness touched many lives, and she will be remembered for her caring nature and vibrant spirit.
Preceding Ruth in death were her husband, Theron Scott Sr., her parents, Grover and Nell Johnson, her great-grandson, Austin Roberts, as well as six sisters and four brothers.
