Roy Roger Chaney, 73, Indianapolis, passed away March 23, 2022. He was born December 4, 1948 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Warren and Arizona (Justice) Chaney.
He worked for Blakley Carpet for over 24 years.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret M. Chaney; daughters, Christina Chaney, Ola-Elizabeth Chaney-Gilreath and Beth Flynn; son, King-David Statton; brother, Robert Bevins; sisters, Patricia Cessna, Mildred Fay Morris and Joan Greer; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his sister Betty Sue Peer and brothers, James E. Chaney and Joe B. Chaney.
Funeral services 1 pm Monday, April 4, 2022 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services 5215 N Shadeland Ave Indianapolis with calling 1 hour prior to services with burial Memorial Park.
