Rosemary Louise Eaton

Rosemary L. Eaton, 91, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, surrounded by family. She was under the care of home hospice.

Rosemary graduated from St. John’s Academy in 1952. She was a long-time member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Rosemary was employed as a key punch operator for many years, and after retirement, she was a volunteer at Community Hospital North and The Indiana Heart Hospital for 15 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, David R. Eaton; parents, Clarence and Ida Kidwell; brother, Ronald J. Kidwell; and grandson, T.J. Ross.

Rosemary is survived by sons, David R. Eaton Jr. (Pamela), Daniel E. Eaton, Timothy J. Eaton and Ronald J. Eaton; daughters, Kathleen M. Ross and Elizabeth A. Scott (Richard); and brother-in-law, Jim Eaton (Dede). Rosemary had 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 23rd from 2pm to 6pm at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a rosary to start at 5pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Monday, November 24, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 4790 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a visitation to start 1 hour prior. Entombment to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road.
