Ronald D. Holsinger

Ronald D. Holsinger, age 89, of Anderson, passed away at his home on June 6, 2023. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on July 13, 1933, to the late Oscar and Maude (McCombs) Holsinger.

Ronald worked as an offshore man in oil drilling for many years. He was a hard worker and very self-sufficient. He was extremely talented in woodworking, having helped paint and build the Anderson Indian on the side of AHS. He enjoyed fishing and traveling and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronald is survived by his children Roseanna Aldridge (Bill), Rick Holsinger (Lisa), Rhonda Smith (Donald Horvath), and Karla Holsinger; grandchildren Michael, Brittany, Clinton, Jordan (Marianne), Jason (Lindsay), Kyle, Taylor, Summer (Josh), Miesha, Kristi, Brian, Josh (Brittany), Becky (Valerie), and Cassie; 28 great-grandchildren; sister Barbara Denson; and special friends Zach Swan and Angi Swan.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents listed above, 8 sisters, 3, brothers, 4 wives, and several nephews.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023, at 12pm at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
