Ronald Gene Courtney, born on January 19, 1962, in the vibrant city of Indianapolis, Indiana, embarked on a final journey from this earthly realm on March 2, 2025, as he passed peacefully in his sleep. Throughout his life, Ron was a beacon of love and strength, a devoted husband, a cherished father, grandfather and a steadfast friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Christy Courtney, with whom he shared countless precious moments, nurturing a bond that was rich with mutual respect and undying affection. Together, they cultivated a family that stands as a testament to their love, and their legacy lives on through their four wonderful children: Curtis Courtney, VeLinda Street, Casondra Hood, and Amelia (Fultz) Courtney. Each of them carries forward the values and wisdom instilled by their father, honoring his memory in their own unique ways.

The warmth of Ron's spirit can also be felt through his seven adoring grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. They were a source of pride and happiness for him, and he reveled in each moment spent with them, ever eager to create cherished memories.
