Ron Sullivan

Ronnie Sullivan, born on October 3, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on June 20, 2026.

Throughout his life, Ron embraced every role with commitment and integrity. He graduated from Harry Wood High School in 1960 and then studied Political Science at Indiana University. He served with honor in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he dedicated many years to his career at Chrysler in Kokomo. Ron’s commitment to his community was further reflected in his 16 years as a Cumberland councilman, during which time he was working as a realtor. He spent many years as a member of the East Side Optimist Club and was also a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Later, Ron worked as a security officer for Blue Line before retirement. In his free time, he was an avid golfer.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Linda Sullivan; daughter, Kimberly Webb; his sons, Phillip (Missy) Sullivan, and Ronald Sullivan (and their mother, Anita Van Allen); brothers, Don Sullivan of Indiana and John Sullivan of Massachusetts; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, stepsons, Kevin (Jessica) Jeter, Justin (Lorraine) Jeter; 8 step-grandchildren, and a host of many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alra Sullivan Sr. and Georgia Hilder Sullivan, his brother, Alra Sullivan Jr., and his sister, Linda Alkin.

Services in memory of Ronnie Sullivan will be held at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services—Lawrence, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46226 on Saturday, June 27th at 1:00PM with visitation starting at 11:00AM.
