Roland Eugene Minton

Roland “Ronnie” Eugene Minton, age 79, of Anderson, passed away on August 24, 2023, at Brickyard Nursing Home in Muncie, IN after an extended illness. He was born on January 1, 1944, to the late Daniel Minton and Helen Shaffer Minton.

Ronnie proudly served in the United States Navy for over 20 years. He was a fun, friendly man, who loved his family dearly. He was an avid football player and fan, enjoyed camping, and spending time with his family. Ronnie had a wonderful life and met and enjoyed many people. Reuniting with his wife Connie, after dating in high school, was truly one of the happiest times for him. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Ronnie is survived by his loving wife Connie (Wood) Minton; children Tammy Morrison, Lisa Noyes, Samantha Minton, Sabrina Minton, and Ronnie Gray; grandchildren Brittany Morrison, Monte Burdick, Jalen Brown, Paris Brown, Zoie Brown, Amiyah Minton, Isaiah Scales, and Kyle Gray; great-grandchildren Miley Hopkins, Monte Burdick, Gregory Burdick, Abigail Burdick, and Sophie Gray; sister Anna Fowler (Art); and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above and brothers Ray Minton, Bob Minton, Kenny Minton, and Pat Shattner.

Cremation was chosen through Legacy Cremation and Funeral Services – Anderson.

Per Ronnie's wishes, no services will be held.
