Roger Lee Corbin, 78, of Anderson, IN, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026.
Roger was born on February 27, 1948, in Greensburg, KY, to Walter Corbin and Delsie Redman. After graduating from high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969.
Following his military service, Roger built a successful career in automobile sales, working for Gaddis Chrysler and Weidner Chevrolet for many years until his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic, friendly personality, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Roger was a faithful member of Valley Grove Free Will Baptist Church. He found great joy in fishing, camping, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts, and, above all, spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, and the many memories he created with those he loved.
Roger is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Corbin of Anderson, IN; his children, Daveon Corbin of Anderson, IN, Christopher Corbin of Yorktown, IN, James (Leslie) Corbin of Muncie, IN, and Gayle McNeal Steinbarger (A.L.) of Anderson, IN; his brothers, Richard (Cheryl) Corbin of Ingalls, IN, Larry Corbin of Anderson, IN, Randy (Mona) Corbin of Cookeville, TN, and Rick (Jenny) Corbin of Pendleton, IN; his sister, Barbara (Dave) Troutt of Livingston, TN; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Corbin and Delsie Redman; his stepmother, Romona Corbin; and his brothers, Jeff Corbin and Steve Corbin.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Gentiva Hospice for the exceptional care, comfort, and kindness they provided to Roger and his loved ones during his final days.
Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Roger's life on Monday July 27th, 2026 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services- Anderson. Visitation will be held from 2pm to 3pm with a service starting at 3pm officiated by Joe Roysden.
Roger’s legacy of service, hard work, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
