Robin Stallings

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Mrs. Robinson Yvonne McDonald Stallings on July 30th, 2025. Deeply mourned by her children Cyler “Mooch” Stallings, Gene (Michelle) Stallings Jr., and Jamie (Amanda) Stallings; grandchildren Chase-Marie Rider, Piper Staten, Emily Stallings, Shelby and Zachery Stallings.

She was born November 10, 1956, in Indianapolis, Indiana. To parents Millard and Margie (Dyer) McDonald. Robin attended high school at Arsenal Tech in Indianapolis. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her siblings Sharon Kay McDonald, Richard McDonald, Kenneth Scott McDonald and Daniel Eugene Caruthers; and her grandson Chace Montana Stallings.

She had a long career at Finish Line Warehouse, serving as their factory supervisor until she retired in 2001. Robin married the love of her life and soul mate. Burley Gene Stallings Sr. They shared thirty-five sometimes tough, but mostly loving and adventurous years together. Burley “Gene” passed away April 18th, 2013. Robin was a caring and loving woman and thankful for a life well-lived. She was devoted most to her family but absolutely adored and loved her grand-babies. She enjoyed gardening because she connected with God the most when she was playing in the dirt she had said. Reading romance novels was another hobby she enjoyed. Robin always had a fondness for animals, especially cats, and her beloved bird, Brudha.

Her cremation will occur on August 7th, 2025. Only her children will attend a private ceremony beforehand. Robin’s celebration of life get-together will be announced at a later date provided by her daughter, Cyler.
