It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roberta L. Wright, who departed from this world on March 19th in Chesterfield, IN. Born in Weiner, Arkansas in 1932, Roberta led a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family and community.
Roberta was a member of the Brownville Baptist Church in Greers Ferry, AR, where she found solace and strength in her faith. She attended Frankton High School and later dedicated her life as a homemaker, pouring her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home for her family.
Known for her giving heart, Roberta possessed a rare gift of making everyone around her feel cherished and valued. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In her leisure time, Roberta found joy in sewing and quilting, showcasing her creativity and skillful hands through beautiful works of art that will be cherished by her loved ones for years to come.
Roberta is survived by her brothers William R. Thomas (Jean) and John Thomas; sister Rixena Toombs (Rick); and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roger H. Wright; son Randy H. Wright; her parents Rixie W. and Lucy R. (Covington) Thomas, brothers JC Thomas and Donald Thomas; and sisters Ella Mae Granger and Janet Jackson.
Roberta's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace knowing that she made the world a brighter place with her presence.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Greers Ferry, AR.
