Bob was a lifelong resident of Noblesville IN., graduated from Noblesville High School class of 1969, and married Kathy Sue Hume in 1972. They had 3 children; Melissa Wells Lakeman, Kari Wells Broxson and James Robert Wells; 4 grandchildren; Austin Wade Broxson, Madison Rose Lakeman, Jackson James Wells, and Kash Robert Wells— and one great grandson, Rowan Wade Broxson.
Bob was a brick and block Mason by trade, for more than 40 years. He worked with his Dad Robert Wells Sr., in construction; and for various Masonry companies over the years; and then with his son Jim Wells, for Wells Concrete Masonry; for the later years of his life.
Bob always loved spending time with his beautiful wife Kathy, family and extended family. When he was younger he loved to fish and go on fishing trips with his father in law and brothers in law; he loved golfing; and playing tennis. He loved spending time with his sister and brothers and their families.
Bob loved his children and grandchildren more than life itself. All the days he ever spent with them, were the very best days he had. Bob loved to bike ride with his grandkids, go to amusement parks, spend holidays and birthdays with them doing the things they loved most.
Becoming a great grandfather was the icing on the cake for him, we are so very grateful and blessed to have had a lifetime of love and happiness with our Husband, Father, and Papaw.
