Ronald Allen Giddings Jr.

Ronald Allen Giddings Jr., age 54 passed away on Friday morning, September 15, 2023. Ronald was born on March 3, 1969, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ronald was strong, hardworking, independent, soft spoken, and generous in helping family and others.  As a young boy, Ronald was a go-lucky kind of person and enjoyed going to the Speedrome racetrack. As he had gotten older, he was into NASCAR racing and was a collector of Earnhardt Memorabilia. Ronald loved his football, his favorite team was the Pittsburg Steelers, which he also collected their memorabilia. Ronald loved playing his PlayStation games and watching different sitcoms on T.V.

Ronald went to school to receive his master's in electrical engineering and was top in his class. He started his own business in November of 2008, called Giddings Electrical.

Ronald never married. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Karr; his sisters, Traci Giddings Deaton, Debra McEntire (Doug), and Christine Karr; his nieces, Ashley Marshall (Joe), Jennifer Greer, and Shalynn Vandagrifft; nephews: Bobby Lakes, Johney Greer, Anthony Doan and Christopher Karr; great nieces; Chole Cantrell, Anastasia Greer, Alexia Doan, Brayleigh Greer, Aubrey Doan, Adriana Doan, and Jaydn Marshall; great nephews: Robert Kieninger Jr., Russell C. Marshall, Joseph C. Marshall, Bentleigh C. Marshall, Cyrus Karr and Timmy Greer; stepsister, Charmaine Kincade; and stepbrother, David Anderson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Allen Giddings Sr and one niece, Tiffany Greer.

Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a service to start at 1pm.  Burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis, IN.
