Robert G. Kail

Robert G. Kail, age 91, of Anderson, passed away on March 27, 2023 at his home. He was born on August 10, 1931 to Glen Kail and Leona (Edwards) Grimes.

Robert was a simple man who enjoyed being home with his family. He loved camping and fishing and being outside. Throughout his life he served in the United States Army, worked for General Motors, and drove cars for bomber auction. He was extremely healthy up until he had major heart surgery several years ago. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Kail; children Lisa Sexton (Steve) and Monty Carter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; children Dale Carter Jones and Phillip Carter, and brother Sheldon Kail.

A graveside service will be held on Monday April 3, 2023, at 12pm at Maplewood Cemetery in Anderson, IN.
