Robert Bowie Ii

Adolphus Bowie II of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 68, following an injury that resulted in a fatal illness.  Adolphus, also commonly referred by his family and friends as Brother, Uncle, Robert, and Rob, was born on June 19, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, to Willa and Adolphus Bowie.  Robert was a hard-working, educated, loving son, brother, uncle, and father.  He was a beautiful and knowledgeable person, with a mind like an encyclopedia, and he was very resourceful and helped others.  He was blessed and found happiness in his life with his greatest love being his sons, Christian and Chrishon. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.  He was predeceased by his parents and his only siblings, his sisters, Sara Ann Bowie and Sandra (Bowie) Gill.  He left behind 2 sons, nieces, great nieces, and a host of family and friends.
