Rick A. Savage

Rick A. Savage, age 69, of Anderson, passed away on June 15, 2023, at the Waters of Middletown. He was born in Anderson, Indiana on April 26, 1954, to the late Marvin Savage and Nila (Harvey) Phipps.

Rick was a simple man in every sense of the word. He was laid back, friendly, and easy-going. He always had a guitar in his hand and taught himself how to play. He enjoyed fishing, watching his granddaughter play basketball, and spending time with his friends having a good time. He was witty and had the best sense of humor. According to him he was the richest man in the world with love and family. He was a wonderful father, grandpa, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Rick is survived by his daughter Amanda Savage (James); granddaughters Layla and Sophia; siblings Steve Carter (Becky), Morris Savage (Jan), and Terry Lyons (Roxanne); several nieces and nephews; previous wife Shelby Savage; special friends Denny and Tammy McCord; and several other close friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents listed above.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 15, 2023, from 1-5pm at The Veterans of Madison County or “The Club” located at 3601 E 10^th St, Anderson, IN 46012.
