Richard Edward Hostetler

Richard Edward Hostetler, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 7, 2023, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born on April 7, 1963, in Bloomington, IN to Robert Hostetler & Iva Marie (Johns) Guffey.  Rick was both Catholic & Baptist because he liked what they both had to say!

Rick was a self-taught musician for most of his life playing guitar, bass, mandolin and keyboards.  He has been in several bands over the years.  Rick also made several recordings for himself and his friends.

Rick also loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors.  He also loved on-line gaming as well as building his own computers.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Gary and sister, Darlene Spears.

Rick is survived by his companion of 11 years, Linda Spradlin; mother, Iva Guffey; father, Robert Hostetler (Barb); brother-in-law, Greg; along with many aunts, nieces and nephews, cousins, as well as amazing friends who are also family.

Visitation will be from 3pm to 4pm on Thursday, June 15^th, 2023, at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 5215 N. Shadeland Avenue, with a funeral service to start at 4pm.
