Rex D. Stansberry

Rex Duane Stansberry, 77 of Frankton, In, passed away on April 17, 2023, at St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.

Rex was born on June 13th, 1945, the son of Paul Waldo and Ruth (Little) Stansberry. He married Connie Jo McConnell on June 6th, 1992, in Frankton, In. He worked as a Forman for the Indiana State Highway for 32 years. Rex enjoyed spending time with his family and being on his farm hanging out with his family, going to watch his grandchildren play ball. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Connie, they were like Cookies and Cream, he also enjoyed working on all his Farmall tractors, he raised hogs for many years with his Son Tim. He was always there when you needed him, he was a great husband, father, and friend. He loved all his children and grandchildren, and he will be greatly missed.

Rex is survived by his Wife of 30 years, Connie Stansberry of Frankton In, Son, Timothy (Aleda) Stansberry of Frankton In, Daughter, Kim Conner of Anderson In, Son, Cory (Laura) Conner of Indianapolis In, 4 Grandchildren, Rex Stansberry of Frankton In, Haylee Stansberry of Frankton In, Lilly Conner of Indianapolis In, Isaac Conner of Indianapolis In, and 6 great grandchildren. Brother Frank (Liz) Stansberry of Frankton In, Larry Stansberry of Alexandria In, And Many nieces and nephews.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ruth Stansberry, Brothers, Jack Stansberry and John Stansberry, Sister, Joyce Stansberry, Niece, Melissa Stansberry and Nephew, Bill Stansberry and two great in-laws, Ruth, and Roy McConnell.

Celebration of Life for Rex will be at a later date.
