Rebecca Cram

Rebecca Surface Minton Cram, 73, of Franklin, Indiana passed at the Masonic Nursing home on February 28, 2026, at 3:22pm.

Rebecca was the daughter of James Oakley Surface and Ruie Maxine (Jewell) Surface on July 21, 1952, in Beech Grove, Indiana.

She worked as a patient transporter at St. Francis, and Community Hospitals. She truly enjoyed talking to and cheering up patients.

Approximately 4 years ago Rebecca had suffered a Frontal Lobe Stroke that impaired her ability for communications. That, however, did not stop her from being able to communicate with her eyes, smile and laughter. We can only imagine all the things she will have to talk about in heaven.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother: James (Brenda) Surface, grandchildren: Rocky, Mollie, Audrey and James Minton, daughter in law: Kristi Minton.

Rebecca was proceeded in death by her husbands, Richard Minton and Glen Cram, parent: James and Ruie Surface, siblings: Donna Barnes, Jewel Houldson, Geraldine Borchers.

Services will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Indianapolis Baptist Temple at 4002 E. Southport Road, Indianapolis, Indiana from 10am until time of funeral services starting at 1pm. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
