Reavely W. Wood Iii

Reavely W. Wood III (64) of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away on July 17, 2023. Reavely, fondly known as Reav, was born to Reavely and Vangeline Wood Jr. on September 9, 1958. He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1976 and then went on to Indiana University. After a few years at IU, he became a licensed journeyman plumber and had a lifelong career in residential plumbing. He was an avid Indiana Hoosier fan and also loved the Indianapolis Colts, as well as attending the Indianapolis 500 Race.

Reav is survived by his partner Lisa and three children Alisha, her husband Matt, Ginna, her husband Austin, and Westyn, as well as his grandchildren Lyla, Lincoln, Nora and Evelyn. He is also survived by his sister Terry, her husband Mike, and his brother Jeff.
Reav was preceded in death by his parents, Reavely W. Wood Jr. and Vangeline Wood; his paternal grandparents, Reavely W. Wood, Sr. and Sallie Modie Wood; and maternal grandparents, Clessie and Alma McGuffey; as well as some of his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10-12 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 519 Jefferson Blvd., Greenfield, Indiana. Funeral service to follow at 12 pm. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, 10612 E Washington St., Indianapolis, IN.  Funeral arrangements provided by Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services – Lawrence.
